Dive more, have more fun and teach your favorite subjects. PADI Specialty Instructor courses provide valuable teaching tips for meeting the requirements of the specialty course. Having five Specialty Instructor ratings is a prerequisite for the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating.

NOTE: Peak Performance Buoyancy does not count toward the 5 Specialty Instructor ratings required to qualify for the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating.

PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty Instructor training covers how to organize, promote and conduct the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course and emphasizes the value of specialty training to divers.

Course Prerequisites

• PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) or Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI)
